About CPHS
The block schedule, cutting-edge technology, house model, and outcome-based teaching were the four key revolutionary foundations around which CPHS was created.
Staff members worked on one of these four “focal” areas of the new school. These four focal points are what distinguished CPHS and made it a pioneer in educational innovation on a national and state level.
When Champlin Park opened, there were 1,650 students enrolled; however, from 1992 until the early 2000s, when enrollment peaked at 3,300 students, enrollment grew rapidly.
AP, Honors, International Baccalaureate (IB), College Possible, and AVID are just a few of the many post-secondary preparation programs that CPHS is happy to offer its students.
Students at CPHS have the option to select from a wide variety of clubs and extracurricular activities.
